&ldquo; He&rsquo;s not perfect. You aren&rsquo;t either, and the two of you will never be perfect. But if he can make you laugh at least once, causes you to think twice, and if he admits to being human and making mistakes, hold onto him and give him the most you can. He isn&rsquo;t going to quote poetry, he&rsquo;s not thinking about you every moment, but he will give you a part of him that he knows you could break. Don&rsquo;t hurt him, don&rsquo;t change him, and don&rsquo;t expect for more than he can give. Don&rsquo;t analyze. Smile when he makes you happy, yell when he makes you mad, and miss him when he&rsquo;s not there. Love hard when there is love to be had. Because perfect guys don&rsquo;t exist, but there&rsquo;s always one guy that is perfect for you.&rdquo; <br /> ― Bob Marley

My hands are broken and scarred
They represent a lifetime of pain
And though this life hasn't been long yet
I can tell you now that it's been extremely hard

My hands are a sign of my strength
They show that I fight for what I believe
They show that I protect who I love
They tell a story of a girl who's lost

My hands are a symbol of hope
They accept other people for who they are
Not what they look like
Because I know for a fact that there's something hidden behind the surface

My hands will accept the hands of my best friend
The one who keeps me going every day
The one who held me when I cried
The one who made me feel safe

And when they need me to be strong for them
I will hold out my hands and comfort my friend
Because that's what friends do
And my hands show that no matter what, we can endure life together

Because my hands represent strength, weakness, pain, and joy
My hands will conquer all that is evil
My hands will accept all that is good
These are my hands, they're open for you
Now reach out and hold them
