Through my window shines the luminous sun
My eyes are forced open as light rolls in
Standing up, I throw on a robe and run
I search for the forbidden love in the bin

The roaring noise of the grinder explodes
Liquid brown energy drips down the side
My lifeline that leads me down many roads
Without my brew I would probably cry

You are the reason I rise in the dawn
And my inspiration through the late night
Snow like foam erupts, until it is gone
The thought of you leaving me is a fright

Mine all year around and not just in May
