Who would I be if I hadn't done this?
I wouldn't be stressed, so deprived of sleep
I wouldn't be such a terrible mess
Wondering how did I get in so deep?
Tearing my hair out and biting my nails
Ignoring the migranes, rubbing my eyes
Trying with all of my might not to fail
Blocking out drama, the rumors, the lies
'Cause without the stage, I woudn't be me
You wouldn't see all the joy in my smile
The light in my eyes, you just wouldn't see
It's been worth it to tread each rough mile
The theater, the stage, my dear old friend
It's been four years and I won't let it end

Wow. It’s impossible not to be in love with this. It’s truly amazing. It really captures the emotion you’re trying to convey. Keep writing, because I want to see more. You should check out some of my stuff. I think you would like it.
