“And in the end, we were all just humans.. drunk on the idea that love, only love, could heal our brokenness.”
― F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby

Last night I had a dream I was dying
Awoke to a vast amber sky gazing
Us against the world, hand in hand flying
A love so deep, grandiose, a blazing
Others look at our love as recondite, confused
With their hateful words, oh how they censure
Heaven pulls my cold body, you’re my muse
With you, I’m longing for a forever
With you, I know what addiction feels like
Olfactory senses smell your black ink
Mesmerized, hit with your love with a strike
Plastered and potted off my dearest drink
Your sapient ways and I’m a bit mental
What better way to call this accidental
