Little Bird
I love you just to hold it above you?
Little bird, if mine then you'd never fly
Can I swallow up you and start anew?
I breathe you in languidly and get high.
But now I've succumb to a addiction
and locked you up inside my shrouded cage
My cynical words are both fact and fiction
Both filled with ravishment and rage
Hold you so tight that you begin to choke
Little bird! Lessons say leave you alone
I'm a baby feeding on what you wrote
Don't want to own you, want you for my own.
So let me go or set me free to roam
And find another person to call "home"
