Cruel and Endless Torture

Laughter rises over tortured cries of pain
Taunting blackness grins above hopeless eyes
and lifelessness drains under the cruel strain
showing pale white skin under the moonrise

Swiftly and brutally the cruel knife slashes,
dark and thick red under the blood lust gaze
their hunger rages on and Death searches,
eyes glaze but true, weighing its soulful trays

Blinding screams rise loudly and endlessly
Sinful white bony fingers glide through flesh,
through bones, and insides can be seen clearly
blood gushes, then instantly skin is afresh

They are stuck in endless time where all repeats
and all are anew, the torture reheats

Incredible. I've never read anything quite like this, with its intense imagery, dream-like ambiguity, and cold structure. The rhythm reminds me of a heartbeat. Very nice job; however, this isn't a sonnet. You set it up just like a sonnet, but it isn't in iambic pentameter, which is key. Despite this, you have an amazing ability to channel emotion, and a distinct potential to write great sonnets.

I love it, my poems are dark too, so when mine get published you should look at them...  it kinda reminds me of a dream... you do have a gift though

I love poetry like this. it's really raw and realistic. I'm not a fan of poems about flowers and happy rainbows.
