Same old, same old
Every single time this happens
Every time it does
You thought it was different, you’re not as smart as he was
It’s not a question it’s a statement
You wonder why they use you
Dressing like a pebble on the pavement
Sticking out again, you will lose.
You’re desperate and sad, it’s really quite pathetic
Yet every time they don’t look at you it’s less than apathetic
You’ll scream and you’ll cry, and wonder why he left
You’ll chase the love you never got, he has your heart
It’s kept
Even if I tried, I couldn’t narrow down
All of your issues, its brought to me a frown
It’s just so many things all in one person, really how does she do it
Way too many problems, see someone to lose it
Is it really just the one? The one thing that you need?
Will you ever get it? How long will you grieve?
Is satisfaction even possible?
Now I’m getting mad
You want so many things, you’re seriously just sad.
Sad, lonely, wanting, and gone
Broken like the glass he threw
Everything is wrong,
This is nothing new.
