Has no one told you I'm not breathing?

The children are running and happily screaming
Seemingly with nothing better to do
Shouting happy words with no meanings
Paying no attention to you

Tears cascade like rainwater
Down red and swollen cheeks
Hopes and dreams with them, drowning,
Down red and swollen cheeks

I'm your mind giving you someone to talk to
Hello
I'm their lies, living so you don't have to
Hello

Has no one told them someone's not breathing
Has no one told you you're not breathing

This poem is really amazing. I used to be just like the kid in this poem and sometimes she still finds her way out. Your turn of phrase is absolutely enthralling and evocative. I don't think I could have expressed the sensation half so well as you did.

What the front door.

i love how you start this uscker off with a setting. then you talk about how sad and depressed that loser is feeling. and i love how you repeat the 2 and 4 lines in the second stanza. that was awesome.i love the repitition in the third stanze and how you introduce yourself. i love the last stanze, how you repeated it but switched the subject pronoun thingy's. it adds emphasis captain. do your dance.

Nice...sad...creepy...dramatic. Excellent poem! And whoever Milo is, they made the exact same comment on three other poems.
