Come Home, I've Changed
When you come home
You’ll see I’ve changed
The floor is swept
The curtains drawn back
My clothes are changed
They faded to color from black
Gone are the cuts and the scars
My eyes have opened
My heart has changed
Come home and see
I’ve become who you always wanted me to be
Shamed that it took me this long
Too long
You’ll never come home
To see how I’ve changed.
