Love's Tail

Love has wings like a bird that flies
around the moon and above the skies
Its song is sweet and gentle, too
even with pain causing gashes anew
Love has fins like a fish that swims
and feeds on lovers' endless whims'their souls are as free as they ought
but escape without blemish they will not
But most of all, Love has a tail
like a bird or a fish or a deer or a whale
it leaves its mark whereer it goes
but what it has done, Love only knows
