This Star Won't Go Out by Esther Earl
I want to start off by saying that this is one of the most AMAZING books ever written! This Star Won't Go Out is about a girl named Esther who has thyroid cancer. The book is a collection of her many journals, pictures, blog posts, and short stories.
This Star Won't Go Out goes through the story of her amazing journey with thyroid cancer. It starts at the beginning as all stories do, with her being born. Then it goes through the struggles of her and her family learning about her having cancer.
What I thought was absolutely cool is that Esther was friends with John Green. John is the author of The Fault in Our Stars, which he dedicated to Esther. Jonh wrote an introduction to This Star Won't Go Out.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loved The Fault in Our Stars and/or needs a book to read about a inspiring story. Overall, I would give it 5/5 stars!
