Standing tall
When you look in the mirror, you can only ask yourself why
All the sadness and anger displayed all these years
When your alone in your room, all you can do is cry
You think to yourself; why am I shedding these tears
Your'e stronger than this. You cannot break down again and fall
As you lie on the floor, you rub your fingers along the scars
No longer can you pick up the blade, you must stand tall
And remember your mom always told you that you are a beautiful bright star
Your arms tell a story and your eyes show sadness
You might not be able to take the pain
But please try to step out of the darkness
All these feelings will soon start to drain
This dark, bad place is not where you belong
Stand up, wipe your eyes and remember to stay strong
