"Are biggest Fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure."

The night hovers across the sky
A child quivers in her room
Soon her mother will hear her cry
But she will not escape her doom

Under her blanket the child tremors
With a very fearful frown
Beneath the child hell simmers
A demon prepares to pull her down

She pulls the blanket full of fear
but she cannot escape her fate
Then she hears her mother near
But for the child hell still awaits

Mother enters, the child is gone
And then the dark becomes the dawn

This is my first try, and I am not sure how this will turn out.

I originally wrote this for my teacher, but she thought it was good and suggested I posted it.

Broken hearts and scars in only places she could see. She just wanted to feel something.

I think you are a very talented writer.  I love how you made the words work together.
