Each passing day deeper my love shall drown
I’ll suffocate alone grasping for breath
My hope will fray as my fears will weigh down
I’ll shed a tear as my pain is my death

My eyes will close and see my love falter
The madness will keep us driving on
The tragedy will make our course alter
The sun will set over our dawn

Morning light will keep this love bright
Fresh dew will keep our two hearts anew
The new day will bring us to a new height
Distances cannot take me from you

Someday a path will make us a way
Someday you and I will wander and stray

I liked the topic of the poem much more than the style. Maybe try less harder to rhyme. Overall good job on the piece :) It was very nice.
