Let the sweet flames engulf me,
Dressing me from head to toe,
Let my mind escape to be free,
Drifting away from all I used to know.

Paint me with the colors of fall,
Erase the scars drawn on me throughout the years.
Make me a fire that's started by all,
Burn away my fears.

Smother me wit searing kisses,
Heat, evaporate the water staining my eyes.
Melt away all my lifetime wishes,
Leave nothing of me, no heartfelt goodbyes.

Let my bitter ashes fall to the ground,
Dust me around like sand on a shore.
Walk away without even a sound,
Leaving only a sea of fire and nothing more.

Let me burn away.
Just let me burn away.
