I miss you guys more than you will ever know.

The heat’s cranked up, 

but my heart is snow.

My tears hit the floor as I walk down the hall.

Who knew I’d miss you more in the fall.

Honestly, I don't know much about individual types of poetry, I just write it. So most of my poetry will be classified as free verse or other bc I honestly don't know.

This is a good poem, but does it belong in the sonnet category? I thought some of the basic rules is that it must be 14 lines long and ten syllables in each line...
