Serendipity

A flower blooms and a bee pollinates

While the sky reveals its natural blue

Do you think this is how an event operates

Or is there something out there that is new

How come the ocean sends me to heaven

And the bird chirps remind me of playfulness

Must be one of those sayings; lucky seven

Off to officially awaken us

Sometimes people stumble into our lives

And sometimes it’s for better or for worse

Somehow this feels like one of those long drives

A little water, so I can immerse

This unexpected sheer simplicity

Is this what they call serendipity

I wrote this poem with the intention of talking about the feeling of serendipity; the feeling of good things happening unintentionally.
