My bedroom
My bedroom, my worst nightmare.
It's there I'm forced to confront myself.
I share a bed with my closeted skeletons.
Monsters under my bed are real, but I can't see them
My thoughts are as dark as my room when I turn the light off.
I feel like screaming but I'll wake up everyone
I wish the sunrise truly shunned the night
Hiding under the covers can't protect me from this demon, because I am that demon.
I don't ask to fall asleep anymore, I ask only my mind attack me less.
I'm my own worst nightmare.
I am my bedroom.
