My First Roller Coaster Ride
The cart goes
Slow and steady.
Then speeds up.
Without mercy,

The wind starts to
Slap my face.
Up. Up.
Clack! Clack!
The ride is coming to its peak.
It’s up. Higher.
Tension builds upon me.
I feel cold,
As if splashed by cold water.
But at the same time,
I’m a sick sweaty shaking parrot.
My face red as a tomato.
My legs become wobble sticks.
My hands are branches sticking to the metal handle,
Trying to hold on to the swaying beast.
Then it stops.
My heart pauses.
Blood freezes in my veins.
I’m coming down with a cold.
The ride’s up to its highest peak,
And I’m on top of the world.
I died in excitement,
My hands reaching out
Grabbing clouds to hold on.
But they moved away carelessly.

Steep fall.
Down.
Down.
Down.
I go.
It’s down. Sharp.
I felt like my head is detaching from my body.
Images flash by:
Cities,
People,
Trees and Trucks.
They become a blur,
Like pictures that were stirred
As I go by.
Suddenly,
My fear perishes.
In those moments, I felt the joy I had never felt before.
I feel like I’m going to Neverland.
The ride has ups and downs,
But it turned out to be amazing,
And I was dazing from what I saw.
The ride soon comes to an end
And I wanted to go again.

I wanted to describe my first roller coaster ride to all of my readers. I wanted to tell them that you won't be afraid of riding the roller coaster if you try it for the first time. It was a fun ride for me and was one of the best times I had during my childhood.
