Music blazing,
nothing but the flash
of multicolor lights
dancing across the room.
Individual spotlights, highlighting
the zoned out faces of
mindless zombies.

Shuffling home,
the sun peeking out behind
the mountain tops,
eyes close.
When they open,
thousands of stars will
canvas the black abyss.
