We are all insomniacs
Afraid to turn out the light
'Cause in the night
We all look so different
We cannot sleep
Because in sleep, we dream
But in my soul, I sleep
'Cause in my soul, I dream.
I dream of a world with no boundaries, chains
No need to be ashamed
Of who I am, I don't have to remain
Inside my head, inside my brain
Ideas seep from my eyes like tears
Judgement is my greatest fear
But here
In my soul
I need not be ashamed
To be a dreamer
So in my soul, I sleep
'Cause in my soul, I dream.
