I Miss You

His hair messily strew
Across his forehead
His fingers are his hair stylist.
A photograph
Clutched in hand
A young woman and small boy,
Warm smiles and laughter
Bubble from the image
A tear rolls from the
Young man's eyes.
He wipes the tears
Kisses the photo
Folds it into his pocket.
The flowers in his hand
Are lain
At the base of the stone.
"I miss you, Mom"
