"I think it's fairly common for writers to be afflicted with two simultaneous yet contradictory delusions- the burning certainty that we're unique geniuses and the constant fear that we're witless frauds who are speeding toward epic failure." -Lynch

The most efficient curtain
Is not opaque.
It is not fearful of vulnerability
Rather-
It leaks a dancing strobe of morning light
Because miniscule moth holes
Have been nibbled in
So that a curious eye
Or a deceitful observer
May gingerly peak through,
Partaking in the naivety of
Translucent glass.

To hell with caution?
Or till death do you part?
Either has the potential of
Time-ticking weaponry
That would not hesitate to
boom and blast and slay

Greetings are a blurry contrast:
One with a brooding push-

the force of one thousand bulls
The other a sloppy invitation-

RSVP to my soul.

Treading on the metallic needles
Of day and company
Curtains are only safe to be spread
In the soothing presence
of night and no one
