I wish my pale winter skin was sun-kissed,
I wish the sled on snow hills were surfboards on waves,
I wish jumping over ice patches was jumping in a pool,
I wish hot chocolate could be a nice glass of iced tea,
I wish the late nights of homework could be late nights with adventures,
I wish the snow storms were thunder storms,
I wish the winter storm warnings were summer heat advisories,
I wish my bulky boots were light flip flops,
