“If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.”
― J.R.R. Tolkien

Let it rain on mountains.
Let it drench the deserts.
Let it quench the forest of people,
That thirst it.

Let it cool the fires of pain, sorrow, and injustice.
Let it shower on the scorching sands of hate.
Let it rain on the lowliest of souls.
Let it rain on the lowliest of people.

Our skies are clear.
Our clouds are hope.
Let our thirst be quenched.
Let the drought be done.

Impossible is not a word, it's just a reason for someone not to try.

I really like this. The end is my favorite.  I like how you use rain as a metaphor for peace. 5 stars :)
