Let it drench the deserts.
Let it quench the forest of people,
That thirst it.
Let it cool the fires of pain, sorrow, and injustice.
Let it shower on the scorching sands of hate.
Let it rain on the lowliest of souls.
Let it rain on the lowliest of people.
Our skies are clear.
Our clouds are hope.
Let our thirst be quenched.
Let the drought be done.
