There are topics I wish to not discuss
Like how much I love him
And how much he does not love me
Or describing a situation to someone who does not understand
But the thing that breaks my heart
Is when the girl in the red dress
Falls to her scraped knees
And cries, "What did I do to deserve this?"
And all I am allowed to say is
"It will get better"
When we all know
that it never will.
