sometimes I look at the sky

and attempt

to comprehend the

vastness of the

cosmic

abyss

but when

I feel your arms on

my waist

lips on

my lips

fingers sliding

through

my hair

I am reaching

to the universe’s

furthest ends

I blow away stars

with a shivering breath

I am dancing

on the sky’s

torn seams
