Two Tone Poetry - A Regal Mind and a Shining Heart

When the sun has risen I am regal purple,
Heavy, deep, full of thought.
In the light I demand your praise,
In the shade I demand your mind.
When the sun has set I am a shining silver,
Bright metallic, awakened.
But to see my gleam, take me out of
Shadows. Put me in city lights.
I am these things that differ
In the dark or in the light.
