We sit in a circle
Around a table
With nothing on it
But a single gun.
None will reach out and grab it,
Fearing the recoil,
Backfire, and the
Eyes
Of those who would fear them
Once they picked it up,
Yet fear more the thought
Of another picking it up.
Yet, as I watch them as they victimize themselves,
I am silent
As I am wishing
Craving,
To investigate its every part,
To oil stain my fingers and callous them,
And learn how to fire it.

I love the style and the idea it kinda like gave me the shivers. I'm not sure exactly what the meaning behind it is or like what it represents, but I am very intrigued. I feel like there's so much more to this, very intense. But confusing-like in a good way.

Very interesting piece; I like it. I love the flow of the poem, and the point you are trying to convey. It's very creative, and the idea of how you thought of this comparison is really stunning. It's really a great article, and I enjoyed reading it; I don't say that often at all.
