And you know how much I love,
everything really,
I fall in love with the pronunciation of words, the shades of colors, the smell of old books,
the breaths of singers in songs,
How much more would I love you?...
I don't know, all I know is that I miss you
especially
now
and that means I love you
after
all
after everything lost and found

For the person I loved more than anything.

An anonymous quote I read the other day encourages to "find something worth dying for, then live for it...". That something was someone for me, someone I loved more than anything. That someone didn't feel the same way, that someone was my first heartbreak.

This poem or these words, because I've never been good at poetry is an attempt at saying goodbye to that someone.

So farewell, I may always love you and miss you just as much, but I gave my part, my tears, my suffering and you choose someone else. You give me no choice but to be on my way.

Like I said I'm not a poet, my words just trickle and bleed and keep me alive. And more than ever I need words to keep me alive because I almost died after losing what I had been living for.

(Please note that my creative license insurance covers any grammar errors and sentences ending in prepositions)

That someone also liked elephants, hence the choice in the accompanying image.
