"If people were rain, I was a drizzle, and she was a Hurricane." John Green

I sit alone in Pluto's Ocean,
Deafening silence:
My solitary and soaked companion,
Tugs and twists at my soul,
Begging to intoxicate
My decrepit lungs.

The waters are thick
And heavy with fury,
Staining me black to reflect
These vindictive stars.

The night cracks and tears.
Snake fingers cover this numb

and motionless body,
Failing to resist,
Fizzes and goes
Still.

Hieroglyphics paint these eyes
And whirl and play
Lucid and living
Entitled to you,
Forever.

Licking lips,
They sliver and slide
Choking the moon,
Awash with silver and

scrutiny.
You sway.

Voluptuous tongues pierce through your plastered sternum.
A struggle?
Impossible.
You released these pathetic leaves.
Now tell me,
What is this that you call
"Freedom?"
