Blind Eyes Watching
A grey fog seeps
Into her glassy eyes
Tracing me as I pace
Back and forth
Tail flicking
I look into her
Clouded brown eyes
She blinks at me
I slide to the floor
I pat the place next to me
She rises sluggishly
And waddles over
She nuzzles into my side
I glance at the clock
Tick Tock, Tick Tock
I wonder how many more
Tick Tock's of the clock
She will hear
