I knew all along

I gave you what was left of my heart
I was so unsure at first
I did not want to have a broke again
I was so afraid
You tempted me with your words
You said you loved me and you would never hurt me like he did
You promised if we broke up I would get the left over pieces of my heart that I gave you
You let me trust you
You let me fall for you
You said you would be there to catch me
But in the end you weren’t there to catch me you let me fall
I hit rock bottom
But do you know the funny thing
I’m fine
I knew this was going to happen
