Murmurs
I am the murmurs
That escape your mouth,
The words that are meant to be screamed
But instead, are sputtered out only to please the anger inside
The words that are too scared,
Afraid they will crush someone
But still like having the intent
I am the plastered tears
Faded memories of the pain
I clench to your face
And refuse to let you smile,
But I realize that that’s all you need and I disappear
Like a coward
For being so greedy
I am the blank stares
That let your thoughts wander
the thoughts only you know
The thoughts of rebellion
That never go into action
But you dream endlessly
You want to be feared and noticed
But you don’t say a word of it
If you do,
Its just murmurs
