What You Have Done
You have done so much for me
you have given me back something I thought I lost
a smile
you gave me something I never truly had
a friend
you gave me an emotion I never felt
happiness
for this and more I can't say how I feel
but I'll try
I hate you
you give these moments of happiness
only to rip them away when you go
leaving me scars in the form of painful memories
you made expectations that no one will ever reach
and when you left all I could ask myself was why
why you pull me up to push me down again
your memories haunt my dreams
and my nightmares
I hate you
but I still love you.
