Behind Shades

In my shades,
I chase away the days
In the sun,
I jump in and swim away
In starlight,
I’m space bound
In moonlight,
Love is found
In the darkest days,
Justice prevails
Through silent spells
And I’m running back to your arms
I come undone in you
I cry and say “We’re not done”
Then I hide behind my shades
