Predator
I'm sly like a fox.
Shoulder blades slicing,
up
and
down.
Darkness, my stage.
Forest, my curtain.
Deep and dreary.
Preying on your beloved,
grasped firmly in my hand.
Rose petal red
drips.
Cowering away
with fear corroding
in your bellies
until taken under.
Raspy screams escape.
An iron grip takes hold,
and life
leaves
you.
