Escape
In this wonderland, where you take me
there is no pain.
Everything vanishes as you storm down my throat,
Flaming then disconnecting every one of my senses
Making me oblivious to the past
As everything begins to move Oh so deliciously fast.
In this wonderland, where you take me
I feel secure
And so I keep you coming, I force you down
Pretending to myself that I won’t drown.
But from this wonderland, where you take me
There are no delays,
So each time I unwillingly return home,
there never ceases to be a storm
Of darkness, of insecurities
As my weather continues its promiscuity.
I keep promising that I won’t go back
That this vacation was my last, but
Today, while lightning crackles,
And clouds mask my sanity
You string me around and force me to pour another doze
Allowing me to succeed in getting myself another return pass-
Back to that wonderland.
