I’m still waiting,
Sitting on the curb,
For you to see me
Behind this mask of normality.
I’m still waiting,
Standing in the shadows,
For you to see me
As more than a friend.
I’m still waiting,
Leaping in the outfield,
For you to see me
And bring me back in.
I’m still waiting,
Diving off the high dive,
For you to see me
As I truly am.
I’m still waiting,
Running through the crowds,
For you to see me
In the midst of beauty.
I’m still waiting.
