The dark hooded figure of death
Comes and breaks the hearts of many
Spoils the beauty of nature
Rips apart the delicacy of life
Flower petals slowly fall
As the cold wind blows
Spring slowly turns into winter
Tears apart the fragility of life
Silent footsteps echo and travel
A weak little bird whispers to the sky
A pitiful butterfly flutters its wings a final time
Breaks apart the frailty of life
Love turns to hate
The world is filled with hopelessness
The dark hooded figure of death
Brings only sorrow and despair to the innocence around it
