Favorite Quote:
Call up the locksmith,
Tell him we need him quick,
We've got a million keys,
None of them seem to fit.

College is only months away,
And then I'll be at home,
By myself waiting for the call,
Hearing the silence to know I'm alone.

You taught me my letters,
Taught me how to tie my shoe,
So whenever I do these things,
I'll always think of you.

Even though we fight,
The times you make me cry,
I would sacrifice all these times,
To have you by my side.

This poem isn't meant as a joke,
So I would hate to smother,
But I feel no longer your sister,
And you no longer my brother.

I made this poem in my English class. I was inspired by my brother, who will be heading off to college in July--miles away from me. Sometimes, I feel like the distance will be too much for me.
