Goodbye
Even though the sky sings blue
It doesn’t seem to be the same without you
Even though the sun shines bright
I look for you in the beacon light
I try to take in these beautiful sights
But the night seems too dark without you
The stars that once shone
Seem to radiate your familiar cologne
Time used to fly with you
Now it seems the clock is stuck in the dark hue
I wonder if you think of me
But I know I’m just stuck in my own fantasy
No matter how high the bridge
Or how old the statue
I’ll never be the same without you
The birds will sing
Church bells will continue to ring
But I know nothing will bring
You to me
