dont worry, be happy

As a dog lays in the dark;
Hoping someone will here his bark;
As he sits waits and wonders why;
No one will ever hear his cry.

As he sees his owner walk out;
He lays down and starts to pout;
The owner kicks him all about;
And begins to angrily shout.

A a dog lays in the dark;
Hoping god will make his remark;
An angel comes and will defend;
The dog sees the light and it comes to an end.

My friend and I made this poem about animal abuse. We really care about animals and wanted to help people become aware of it.I hope you enjoy my poem.
