Nothing Less.

A normal day
is filled with many spills,
some accidental, some not.
The shattering of a beer bottle
against the brick wall,
or the accidental
spill of milk.
But
as the day progresses,
you cannot deny
that there are many spills,
and they are dried up
with towels.
Yielding,
Absorbant.
The towel sits on the rod
Waiting.
Until it is needed.
It dries up the spill, and saves the day.
A valiant hero.
But towels know
which spills to clean,
Which ones to respect.
For the more a towel dries,
the wetter it gets.
So, just in case there are any spills today,
Keep a towel handy.

Yeah.. I totaly know what you're saying witch makes the artical more worth reading...You could also look it as the wetter a towel is the less you want to use it.. In comparison, the less respect you have for someone the less you talk to them.

Yes, I know, the comparison was weird to me as well. Well, when it first occured to me. But I think the main thing that ties a towel and respect together is that the more a towel dries, dries OTHERS, the wetter it gets. And it's the same for respect... respect others, you'll be respected.

Thanks for cdommenting! I'll be sure  to check out your stuff :)

This was really good! It's somehow complicated and simple all at the same time! Haha! I also wanted to mention that I'm really glad you read some of my work and liked it, not many people have, so i'm just incredibly thankful! Thank you, and you absolutely have to keep writing!(:
