Your eyes are telling me to back off
the color, a deadly brown
your eyes are not a beautiful sight
your eyes look as if they, themselves are mad
I don’t want to know who or what made you this mad
you are like a big green hairy monster that has not eaten in a life time
looking for the closest thing to eat
as you approach me I get a bad feeling in my stomach
you are looking at me and only at me
I ask myself ‘why do I get to be the big green hairy monster’s dinner’
as you walk up to me you grab my arm and pull me aside from everyone else
I think to myself ‘this can’t be good’
I have never seen you this mad
you look as if you are going to kill
the first words out of your mouth are: “we are over”
those are the three words I didn’t want to hear from you, or from anyone
as you are yelling at me for no reason, I start to cry
I can’t take it anymore
So I yell: ‘I am glad we are over I can now be free’
I can’t believe I said that, especially to you
I feel as if I have overcome a huge fear
I am much happier now that I am not your girlfriend
I was really scared to tell you that I did not love you but now that I have I feel as if I can do anything
