can we text?
I’m scared for you to come close cause then you will realize my freckles look like mud ponds. But I want you to pull close so I study how the blues of your eyes mingle with bronze.
I don’t want you to hug me cause then you will get scalded by the flab gnawed to the sides of my waist. But I want you to drill to me so I get to touch the inner pink of your elbow skin.
I’m afraid to call you (can we text?) cause I sound like an insecure Frankenstein who gobbled up too much electricity. But I want to hear your voice so I can imagine you whispering next to me.
I miss you but I’m scared to guess whether you miss me too cause I’m not good enough for you. I want you to be thinking about me because I love you.
