I am the ceiling, I am the floor,
I am the walls, I am the door.
I don't see all, this is all I see.
This is what it's like to be me.
You look beyond the windows, behind the door,
You hit the walls and step on my floor.
Trash the room, fight and shout!
You never notice me, but I can't lock you out.

I was inspired by staring at the ceiling during class one day. It's about how I make friends really quickly with people, but then I tend to cling onto them as much as possible. I want people to love me exactly the way I love them, but that doesn't seem to be in my cards. In this, I am the room, and my friends are the people in it. They come and go as they please and once I realize that things are getting messy, I can't lock them out.
