Years Later
A wise man once told me
"Love and grief aren't so
different
at all."
I was a young soul then
I had only felt love
reckless and passionate love
I refused to listen
Yet years later
when I had felt grief
for countless times
I came to the realization
that they have been
the same all along.
Just that love had found
a haven in the raging storm
while grief is still
seeking.
