Mirror
I walk into a mirror.
A world flipped.
Right to left.
The stars mean good morning.
And the sun means goodnight.
People´s frowns outside the mirror turn into smiles inside the mirror.
The joyful people are now sad.
Experiencing themselves how it feels.
The mirrors here don´t define worth like in the real world.
Here they define inner happiness.
The normalization of looking in a mirror and despising what you see.
Because you constantly compare yourself to others.
Here you´re loved no matter what.
I pause and think.
I´m here to stay.
I don´t step out, I don´t like being left out.
Hope they miss me.
