Nostalgia
Memories are all that is left
memories are all that were
Like an ocean without ebb
the brooding brine bleeds into the blur
Tomorrow's sorrow remembers yesterday
In the end, my folly was met,
There wasn't much I could do
Now wallowing down in ascetic regret,
My thoughts frozen within mourning dew
Tomorrow's love remembers yesterday
But in the sea of black & blue,
Falls threw an array of red
Bringing a wilted yet warming call,
As I meander the halls of Father Time's stead
Tomorrow's today remembers yesterday
Out yonder beyond the gold-veiled west,
A pink and placid sea sleeps.
An eternal sunset baths nostalgia in warmth
As I Bath, sleep, and drown into the deep.
